Job summary

ATI is hiring a Manufacturing Associate for our Richburg, SC facility. You will perform a variety of finishing department tasks and support on the shop floor to meet production goals. Growth through cross training and rotations is available as you gain experience.

Responsibilities include using gauges and calipers, operating forklifts and cranes, and heat-treating metals with furnaces while following safety regulations. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED is required.
• 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic measurements.

Responsibilities

• Use measuring devices like gauges, meters, calipers and tapes.
• Operate forklifts and cranes on the shop floor.
• Heat-treat bar and coil products using furnaces and adjust for non-conformances.
• Assist with setting up machines.
• Follow and implement all prescribed safety rules and regulations.

We are seeking a Manufacturing Associate to work in our Richburg, SC facility. In this position you are responsible for performing a wide variety of tasks in the Finishing Department. This role will assist on the shop floor to ensure production goals are met. A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an attention to detail and a willingness to learn. This position offers opportunity for growth through cross training and job rotations. Associate will perform the summarized jobs listed: Straightener Operator, Peeler Operator, Grinder Operator, Mark and Pack, Saw Operator, and Crane Operator.

Additional Responsibilities

• Use measuring devices like gauges, meters, calipers and measuring tapes.
• Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts and cranes.
• Use heat-treating furnaces to accurately heat treat both bar and coil products. Use specific mill instructions to correctly regulate furnaces and adjust for non-conformances.
• Assist with setting up machines
• Follow and implement all prescribed safety rules and regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED
• One (1) year of manufacturing experience
