Job summary

International Paper’s St Anthony sheet plant in Indiana is seeking a Manufacturing Associate for the 2nd shift. The role pays $22.20/hour with a 90-day probationary period, increasing to $25.92–$29.44 after.

Candidates will perform varied manufacturing tasks, maintain safety, quality, and productivity while handling basic math and machine operation. Two years in manufacturing with the same employer preferred; lifting up to 50 lbs and reading specs required.

Qualifications

• Two years of manufacturing experience, with at least one year at the same employer preferred.
• Read and interpret specification sheets.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and operating equipment.
• Follow directions and maintain quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of functions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Count and stack finished product.
• Read and interpret spec sheets.
• Operate machines.
• Complete quality and administrative documents.
• Clean up duties including blowing down, ink systems, vacuuming, sweeping and housekeeping.

The Job You Will Perform:

We are looking for motivated individuals who are capable of performing a multitude of functions in a flexible, fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a 2^nd^ shift position, paying $22.20/hour with a 90 day probationary period increasing to ($25.92 - 29.44).

The Skills You Will Bring:

Two years of work experience in a manufacturing environment with at least one year with the same employer preferred. Specific responsibilities include:

• Counting
• Stacking finished product
• Reading spec sheets
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Operating machines
• Utilizing basic math
• Inspecting
• Accurately completing quality and administrative documents
• Following directions.

You will also be assigned to clean-up functions such as:

• Blowing down the machine
• Cleaning ink systems
• Vacuuming
• Sweeping the machine area
• Picking up scrap and general housekeeping
