Job summary

Momentum Manufacturing is seeking a Manufacturing Associate in Saint Johnsbury, VT to support daily production goals in a fast-paced environment. You will join a collaborative team, perform basic machine set-ups, read blueprints, and ensure quality control standards are met, with overtime as needed.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and about 1 year of related experience, basic math skills, and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

  • 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education & experience.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Accountability to show up to work regularly and provide a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a team to achieve daily production goals.
  • Perform simple machine set-ups as needed.
  • Read and understand most blueprints.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of QC requirements and procedures.
  • Monitor scrap rates and inspect parts per procedure.
  • Understand cutting tools and ISO concepts; apply Lean principles.
  • Be available for overtime when required.

Job Title: Manufacturing Associate

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Job Summary

As a manufacturing associate you will be working in a manufacturing environment. In this role your responsibility will be to help your team achieve daily production goals. Work will vary based off of production needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Must be able to perform simple machine set‑ups
  • Must be able to read and understand most blueprints
  • Demonstrate working knowledge and understanding of most QC requirements and procedures
  • Must be able to monitor scrap rates
  • Must be able to inspect parts in accordance with procedure policy
  • Basic understanding of different cutting tools and their usage
  • Basic knowledge of ISO concepts
  • Understand production requirements
  • Basic understanding of Lean principles
  • Must be available to work overtime if required

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • One-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education & experience required

  • Accountability to show up to work regularly and provide a positive attitude.

This position operates in both office and manufacturing floor environments. Exposure to noise, machinery, temperature variation, and industrial conditions may occur when accessing plant areas.
