Momentum Manufacturing seeks a Manufacturing Associate to help the team reach daily production goals in a Vermont manufacturing environment. You will contribute to the shop floor, perform simple machine set-ups, read blueprints, and ensure quality per procedures while supporting production targets.

Required is basic math, reliability, and willingness to work overtime. Familiarity with ISO concepts and Lean principles is expected to help drive continuous improvement.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent education & experience.
• Basic math skills and reliable attendance.

Mansioni

Job Title: Manufacturing Associate

As a manufacturing associate you will be working in a manufacturing environment. In this role your responsibility will be to help your team achieve daily production goals. Work will vary based off of production needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Ability to work in a team environment
• Must be able to perform simple machine set-ups
• Must be able to read and understand most blueprints
• Demonstrate working knowledge and understanding of most QC requirements and procedures
• Must be able to monitor scrap rates
• Must be able to inspect parts in accordance with procedure policy
• Basic understanding of different cutting tools and their usage
• Basic knowledge of ISO concepts
• Understand production requirements
• Basic understanding of Lean principles
• Must be available to work overtime if required

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• One-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education & experience required
• Basic math skills
• Accountability to show up to work regularly and provide a positive attitude.

Work Environment

This position operates in both office and manufacturing floor environments. Exposure to noise, machinery, temperature variation, and industrial conditions may occur when accessing plant areas.
