Job summary

Dover is seeking an assembly technician at our Jenks, Oklahoma facility. You will assemble parts per BOM and drawings, operate presses, perform tests, and ensure accurate ERP entries while maintaining equipment and supporting cross‑functional teams.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, plus 1–3 years of related experience. Some travel may be required; a discretionary bonus is described based on performance metrics.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to travel as required and/or directed.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble parts according to Bill of Materials, Bill of Operations, engineering drawings and related controlled documents.
  • Operate hydraulic and manual presses to assist in assembly operations.
  • Perform test procedures on assemblies as directed.
  • Maintain accurate ERP system transactions.
  • Repair and maintain mechanical equipment.
  • Move parts by forklift, hand trucks, or manually as required.
  • Assist in training other employees and support other departments as needed.
  • Adhere to ISO procedures to prevent problems and improve processes.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Assemble parts according to Bill of Material, Bill of Operations, engineering drawings and any other related controlled documents.
  • Operates hydraulic and manual presses to assist in assembly operation.
  • Performs test procedures on assemblies as directed.
  • Required to maintain accurate and timely transactions in the ERP system.
  • Repairs and maintains mechanical equipment.
  • Be able to drive forklift truck, hand trucks or manually move parts as directed or required.
  • Complete kitting parts based on production schedule.
  • May be required to train other employees and help in other departments as directed.
  • Other essential duties and responsibilities may be assigned as required.
  • This position is also responsible for, with authority to follow ISO procedures, initiate action to prevent problems, document quality problems, contribute to problem solutions, verify implementation of solutions, control further processing when a problem is identified, protect the environment, including preventing pollution, analyzing or identifying areas for correction or improvement.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to travel as required and /or directed.

This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
