Job summary

Morgan Truck Body in Orrville, OH is seeking a Production Associate (Manufacturing Assembler) for 1st shift to help build truck bodies with emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency. You will read blueprints, cut, assemble components, and operate tools; you will set up machines, inspect finished products, and maintain a clean, safe environment while growing with a company that promotes from within.

On-the-job training in basic math, measurements, tooling, and blueprint reading will prepare you

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, work orders, specifications and safety requirements with accuracy.
• Cut wood and metal to precise specifications using saws, shears and other equipment.
• Build and fasten components using bolts, screws, rivets, clips and other hardware.
• Safely and efficiently operate pneumatic and hand tools.
• Set up equipment and perform preventive maintenance to keep production moving.
• Inspect finished products to identify defects and ensure quality standards are met.
• Follow all safety policies and maintain a safe workplace.
