LINAK is seeking an Manufacturing Assembler I for the second shift (2:00pm - 10:30pm) in Louisville, KY. The role involves assembling products and sub-assemblies to meet customer requirements, using hand and power tools in a clean, safe environment.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 6 months of assembly experience. Lean Manufacturing/5S experience is a plus, with potential overtime and a strong emphasis on quality and safety.

General Responsibilities:

• Read instructions and assemble products or sub-assemblies
• Use a wide range of Hand Tools
• Use a wide range of Power Tools
• Follow all the safety procedures, environmental guidelines and company rules and regulations while assembling
• All other duties as assigned
• Produce according to schedule using standard procedures in safe and effective manner in an assigned work cell
• Utilizes C-4 and other tools to foster Continuous Improvement

Requirements:

• A High School Diploma/GED is preferred.
• A minimum of 6 months of Assembly experience is preferred.
• The individual must be goal oriented with high degree of enthusiasm.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / 5S experience is a plus.
• High efficiency, productivity, and flexibility are necessary.
• Must be able to perform job rotations / cross training and perform physical demands of all jobs on the line.
• Second Shift: 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm, Monday - Friday (possible OT)
