The role supports assembly, inspection, packaging, and movement of products and materials while adhering to safety and quality standards. The position emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and reliability, with opportunities to contribute to lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Interest in manufacturing/assembly; no previous experience needed.
• Ability to read and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products, components, or subassemblies according to work instructions, specifications, and production schedules.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, machinery, and production equipment safely and effectively.
• Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards and specifications.
• Identify and report defects, equipment issues, or process concerns to supervisors or team leads.
• Package, label, and prepare products for shipment or storage.
• Maintain accurate production records, logs, and documentation as required.
• Follow established manufacturing processes, standard operating procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Assist with material handling, inventory movement, and workstation organization.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, productivity, and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies.
• Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other departments to achieve production objectives.
• Participate in and follow lean manufacturing methodologies and manufacturing practices
• Perform other duties as assigned.
