Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Manufacturing Assembler to support production operations, including assembly, inspection, packaging, and material movement. You will work with team members to meet production goals while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency.

The role requires basic math, ability to read instructions, and strong attention to detail. Candidates should be reliable, punctual, and capable of following procedures in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Able to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.

  • Understanding of manufacturing and production processes.
  • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and production equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble products, components, or subassemblies according to work instructions, specifications, and production schedules.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, machinery, and production equipment safely and effectively.
  • Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards.
  • Identify and report defects, equipment issues, or process concerns to supervisors or team leads.
  • Package, label, and prepare products for shipment or storage.
  • Maintain accurate production records, logs, and documentation.
  • Follow established manufacturing processes, SOPs, and safety guidelines.
  • Assist with material handling, inventory movement, and workstation organization.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other departments to achieve production objectives.
  • Participate in lean manufacturing methodologies and practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
