Engagement Details

Duration: 12 Months (Extendable)

Work Schedule: 1st shift on a 4/10 shift, working 10 hour days Monday through Thursdays.

Description of work environment

Performing soldering, solder touch‑up, microscope inspection, part‑orientation checks, and rework tasks, including conformal coating, masking/demasking, staking, bonding, and other small‑component processes.

Project scope

Details of the project this role will support:

Supports production and inspection of avionics assemblies requiring high‑precision soldering and rework as part of ongoing FCS manufacturing output.

Responsibilities

• Performs manufacturing inspection process which consists of soldering, soldering touch up, soldering inspection, part orientation verification. Exceptional soldering skills and manual dexterity.
• Ability to solder and work under a low powered microscope. Experience working in a team environment.
• Works under general supervision. Work is less structured within identified boundaries and procedures. Identifies problems and issues in straightforward situations.
• Works to achieve operational targets within job area which has some impact on the overall achievement of results for the team.
• Work is somewhat limited in scope, typically on smaller, less structured task-related activities.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
