Job summary

Nestlé Purina North America is seeking an accounting professional to support accounts payable and related processes at our King William plant, Virginia. You will work with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely payments and accurate PO data, while contributing to month-end close and SAP-based capital project activities.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 1+ years of accounting, clerical, or inventory experience in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years’ experience in accounting, clerical, or inventory, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with SAP is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices and work with suppliers, vendors, and department managers to ensure payments are received in a timely manner.
• Understand, investigate, and resolve all discrepancies with invoices and accounts payables.
• Address errors and verify accuracy of purchase orders from the purchasing department to ensure proper inventory levels and payments are processed.
• Perform period-end activities including accruals, purchase order tracking, reporting, and other activities needed to close the books.
• Interact with plant engineers to assist in closing capital projects via SAP.
• Assist in month end close tasks.
