  • Collaborate with Quality, Operations, Materials, and Engineering to implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor CAPA effectiveness and ensure sustainability in procedures and training.

Job Description Summary

The Manufacturing and Materials Process Leader is responsible for driving process governance, documentation control, investigations, and continuous improvement across manufacturing and materials operations. This role leads root cause investigations, non-conformance management, and CAPA execution while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory requirements. The leader partners across Quality, Operations, Materials, and Engineering to standardize processes, maintain training and work instruction documentation, support audits, and sustain operational excellence through Lean principles and process discipline.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain manufacturing and materials process documentation, standard work, procedures, and training materials.
  • Ensure documentation is accurate, compliant, current, and properly controlled.
  • Conduct process reviews and audits to support compliance, governance, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead Lean initiatives, Kaizen events, and process improvement projects to improve safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity.
  • Identify opportunities to standardize processes, eliminate waste, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Lead investigations related to process deviations, non-conformances, inventory discrepancies, and manufacturing issues.
  • Lead investigations, perform root cause analysis, and drive timely CAPA completion.
  • Partner with Quality, Operations, Materials, and Engineering teams to implement sustainable corrective actions.
  • Monitor CAPA effectiveness to ensure issues are resolved and recurrence is prevented.
  • Ensure investigation outcomes and CAPAs are incorporated into procedures, work instructions, and training materials.
  • Maintain investigation, non-conformance, CAPA, training, and standard work documentation.
  • Support internal and external audits by ensuring documentation and training records are accurate and current.
Required Qualifications

For roles outside of the USA- This role requires advanced experience in the Manufacturing & Production Process and Equipment. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).

For roles in USA - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).

Desired Characteristics

Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
