Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Manassas, VA is seeking a Manufacturing Alignment Engineer (CVD/CMP) to shape how manufacturing runs across the network.

You will lead alignment programs, standardize BKMs, and partner with global teams to improve speed, quality, cost and equipment performance. The role requires 5+ years as a Process or Equipment Owner in CVD or CMP, a bachelor’s degree, and willingness to travel internationally; experience with AI workflows is a plus as part of advancing process

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Process or Equipment Owner in CVD or CMP.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Strong understanding of process and equipment systems, methods, and tools.
• Experience coordinating or leading site and global teams.
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of alignment programs to standardize BKMs, improve efficiency, and elevate manufacturing performance.
• Drive improvements in tool utilization, idle tool shutdown practices, POR–MOR gap closure, and global BKM deployment.
• Coordinate ESTA activities, recipe alignment, mismatch reduction, and defect improvement across technologies.
• Align PM procedures, qualifications, scrap reduction efforts, and recurrence prevention practices.
• Partner with global teams to define standards, implement improvements, and track progress to leadership.
