Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Manassas, VA is seeking a Manufacturing Alignment Engineer (CVD/CMP) to shape how fabrication aligns across the network. You will build alignment programs, drive best-known-method adoption, and partner with technical teams worldwide to improve speed, quality, cost and equipment performance.

This role offers the opportunity to influence tool utilization, standardize processes, and scale technologies while developing people in a global manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Process or Equipment Owner in CVD or CMP.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Strong understanding of process and equipment systems, methods, and tools.
• Experience coordinating or leading site and global teams.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
• Interest in AI workflows in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of alignment programs to standardize BKMs, improve efficiency, and elevate manufacturing performance
• Drive improvements in tool utilization, idle tool shutdown practices, POR–MOR gap closure, and global BKM deployment
• Coordinate ESTA activities, recipe alignment, mismatch reduction, and defect improvement across technologies
• Align PM procedures, qualifications, scrap reduction efforts, and recurrence prevention practices
• Partner with global teams to define standards, implement improvements, and track progress to leadership
