Department Introduction
The Manufacturing Alignment team partners across Micron’s global manufacturing network to deliver world‑class performance through standardized processes, equipment alignment, and best‑known methods (BKMs). The team focuses on enabling scale, efficiency, and consistency by establishing global standards, training, and disciplined execution aligned to Micron’s business strategy and four manufacturing pillars.
Position Overview
The Central Team Alignment Engineer drives global process and equipment alignment to improve manufacturing capability, cost, speed, quality, and people outcomes. This role leverages internal and external resources to deploy industry‑benchmark methods, optimize utilization and efficiency, and ensure execution of global standards across manufacturing sites. Based in Boise, this position directly supports the ID1 HVM site through coaching, training, and implementation of HVM network BKMs, systems, and practices to enable site ramp, development, and integration into the global network.
