Job summary

APR Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Analyst/Admin to support our Tooling Organization in El Segundo, CA. This on-site role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional to help coordinate manufacturing activities and data.

The position is 12 months or longer, with a pay rate of $24.90 per hour on W-2 (DOE) and a 9x80 schedule. The ideal candidate will have strong Microsoft Office skills, data reporting ability, and comfort working cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Participates in cross-functional areas including planning, quality, systems and manufacturing engineering.
• May facilitate self-directed work teams and provide training to teams and peers.
• Interacts with internal and external customers on planning, problem resolution and process improvement.
• Experience in manufacturing operations and meeting deadlines.
• Uses Microsoft Outlook for scheduling and calendar management.
• Organizes meetings and prepares data presentations for leadership.

Job description

An aerospace client is looking for a Manufacturing Admin to support our Tooling Organization department. This position will serve on-site at El Segundo.

Position: Manufacturing Analyst/Admin

Pay Rate: $24.90/hr. on W2 (DOE)

Duration: 12 months or longer

Schedule: 9x80 A

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supports production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment.
• Performs activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning and control, total quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process reengineering.
• The incumbent may facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training in core skill areas to teams and peers, and interact with internal and external customers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement.
• Incumbents are generally experienced in one or more areas of manufacturing operations.
• Experience in a team environment providing support to a diverse customer base with a demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Experience managing competing demands while still meeting critical deadlines
• Experience using Microsoft Outlook with calendar functionality
• Ability to adapt to shifting business priorities and step forward for projects
• Skilled with high attention to detail.
• Managing and scheduling meetings will be critical as well as organizing presentations and gathering data for leadership consumption.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and at least 2 years of related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong Microsoft Excel skill (sorting, filtering, pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, basic formulas)
• Strong organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication
• Basic data analysis and reporting experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelors degree in business, engineering, supply chain, manufacturing or related field
• Experience supporting manufacturing in an aerospace or industrial field
• Experience with ERP/MRO systems such as SAP or MES, Power BI or Tableau dashboards and reporting.
