Job summary

Pathway Talent Partners, LLC is partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization to recruit an Accounting Manager who will lead the accounting function and drive accuracy and timeliness of financial information.

The role covers month-end close, general ledger, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, partnering with operations to understand costs and opportunities. This hands-on leader will shape processes and support audits in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership of an accounting team.
• Strong background in general accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• GAAP knowledge and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or similar operational environment.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial process improvements.
• Experience supporting financial audits.
• CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team with clear expectations.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including GL, AP/AR, reconciliations.
• Own month-end and year-end close processes ensuring timely results.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, planning, and financial analysis.
• Partner with operational leaders to understand manufacturing costs and trends.
• Maintain strong accounting controls and support audits.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and systems.
• Serve as a hands-on financial partner to leaders across the organization.
