Job summary

Jobtailor in Boston seeks an accounting professional to support the Client Accounting & Advisory Services team for the Manufacturing Industry. You will manage multiple clients, software, and charts of accounts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Responsibilities include processing AP, cash disbursements, AR, cash receipts, payroll, and completing month-end financial statements, reconciliations, and 1099s. A Bachelor’s degree and accounting experience are required.

Qualifications

• Accounting and financial experience is preferred
• Bachelor's degree is required
• Combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree
• Knowledge of accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash disbursements, cash receipts, reconciliations, financial statements, sales tax returns, and Form 1099s

Responsibilities

• Support the Client Accounting & Advisory Services team for the Manufacturing Industry.
• Handle multiple clients, software, and charts of accounts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Coordinate and process accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and payroll.
• Complete month-end financial statements.
• Coordinate and complete bank, credit card, prepaid, accounts receivable, fixed asset, accounts payable, and accrual reconciliations.
• Complete complex account reconciliations previously set up and supported by senior accounting personnel.
• Complete sales tax returns, Form 1099s, and other client-requested forms or items.
