Job summary

American-Marsh Pumps is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support accounting, financial reporting, and multi-entity operations. You will collaborate across Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, and management to deliver accurate financial information.

The role emphasizes month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and internal controls in a manufacturing setting, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 2+ years of progressive accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with general ledger accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare monthly journal entries with supporting documentation.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and monthly reporting packages.
• Reconcile cash, banking activity, accruals, prepaid expenses, and other accounts.
• Coordinate and reconcile intercompany transactions between entities.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
