Job summary

Fives Machining Systems North America is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead core accounting operations across accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, and tax, supporting multiple sites. This role reports to the Director of Finance, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and continuous process improvement.

The position requires collaboration with operations and finance leadership to standardize processes, optimize working capital, and improve cash flow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• CPA certification or progress toward CPA is preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or project-based environments is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, and Tax support functions.
• Oversee vendor management, invoice processing, payment cycles, billing, collections, dispute resolution, and cash management activities.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial transactions and supporting documentation.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Drive improvements in working capital metrics and cash flow performance.
