Job summary

LHH in Louisville is seeking a Senior Accountant to own the month-end close for multiple sites, support financial reporting, and coordinate the external audit. You will partner with operations to understand expenses and drive financial visibility across the plant network.

Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you will analyze operating results, manage fixed assets, and support process improvements. This is a high-visibility role with leadership exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge.
• Proficient with month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close activities for facilities in Louisville, Boston, and Texas
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, allocations, and general ledger reconciliations
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances
• Assist with monthly financial reporting and management reporting packages
• Analyze operating results and investigate financial variances
• Partner with plant managers and operations leaders to understand expenses and business performance
• Manage fixed assets and related reporting
• Oversee corporate credit card accounting and expense reporting activities
• Coordinate the annual external audit process, including gathering support and managing auditor requests
• Support process improvements and reporting initiatives that improve financial visibility across the business
