Job summary

Leidos in Maryland is seeking a Mid/Sr Manual Test Engineer to join our fast-paced, mission-critical program within the Intel Sector’s Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA).

You will perform manual component, integration, and system testing, develop test procedures, and collaborate with software developers and system engineers to ensure quality and compliance before release.

Clearance required: TS/SCI with polygraph on day one.

Qualifications

• Must have current, full-time experience working as a Test Engineer.
• Experience testing through a full system development life cycle, including test plans and test processes.
• Experience participating in formal test events (Acceptance Test, UAT, Software Final Release Test, etc.).
• Experience collaborating with software developers to create formal test procedures.
• Experience working with physical equipment in a test lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with engineers and stakeholders to define testing priorities and schedules.
• Identify tasks and resources for test environment prep and execution of tests.
• Perform manual component, integration, system, and end-to-end testing of software applications.
• Develop and execute system-level and integration-level test procedures and reports.
• Evaluate software changes and verify defect corrective actions.
