Job summary

Flosum is seeking a skilled Manual QA contractor in the United States to join our QA team. You will test features, verify bug fixes, and ensure quality across our web applications and REST APIs, collaborating closely with developers.

You will create test cases, perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing, and contribute to test documentation. SQL data verification and enterprise app testing experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of manual QA experience.
• Experience testing web applications.
• Experience with Salesforce.
• Understanding of software testing lifecycle.
• Strong test design techniques.
• Experience creating test documents from scratch.
• Experience with Jira and TestRail.
• Familiarity with browser DevTools.
• Experience testing REST APIs.
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Experience with DB testing (Postgres, MySQL).
• Experience with CI/CD tools.
• Basic Git understanding.
• Good communication and attention to detail.
• English sufficient for daily communication.
• Experience testing complex enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Test features and verify bug fixes.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
• Create and maintain test cases, checklists, and QA docs.
• Analyze requirements and prepare test scenarios before development completes.
• Test REST APIs using Swagger or Postman.
• Verify data using SQL.
• Reproduce issues with developers to investigate root causes.
• Participate in refinement sessions, and release testing.
• Help improve testing processes and increase test coverage.
