Job summary

Flosum is seeking a meticulous Manual QA tester to join our contracting team in the United States. You will test web applications, REST APIs, and Salesforce-backed features, creating clear test cases and documentation.

Responsibilities include exploring requirements, designing test scenarios, executing tests, reporting defects, and collaborating with developers to reproduce and investigate issues. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential; remote work options may be available

Qualifications

• 2+ years of manual QA experience.
• Experience testing web applications.
• Experience with Salesforce.
• Strong understanding of the software testing lifecycle.
• Knowledge of test design techniques.
• Experience creating test documentation from scratch.
• Experience with Jira and TestRail (or similar tools).
• Familiarity with browser DevTools.
• Experience testing REST APIs.
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Experience with DB Testing (Postgres, MySQL).
• Experience with CI/CD products.
• Basic understanding of Git.

Responsibilities

• Test new features and verify bug fixes.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
• Create and maintain test cases, checklists, and other QA documentation.
• Analyze requirements and prepare test scenarios before development is completed.
• Test REST APIs using Swagger or Postman.
• Verify data using SQL.
• Reproduce reported issues and work with developers to investigate root causes.
• Participate in refinement sessions, and release testing.
• Help improve testing processes and increase overall test coverage.
