Spherion Staffing, LLC in Northern Saginaw County, MI, is hiring for Material Operator to support ramp-up at a major manufacturing facility. This is a manual role with swing shifts, full-time/contract for 3 months with potential extension.

Responsibilities include moving materials, loading components, keeping lines stocked, and assisting operators. Candidates should have a HS diploma, 1–4 years’ experience, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–4 years of manufacturing or material-handling experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs for extended shifts.
• Willingness to work day and night swing shifts.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Move, stage, and transfer raw materials and finished goods with manual pallet jacks and hand carts.
• Load, unload, and sort production components to keep lines stocked.
• Maintain clear walkways and inventory staging areas.
• Inspect materials for basic damage or discrepancies.
• Follow all safety regulations and quality standards.
• Assist machine operators with core production tasks and prep.
• Complete logs and checklists with accurate product specifications.
