Job summary

Stryker in Portage, MI is seeking a reliable Material Handler to support our manufacturing operations. You will move parts and materials through the plant, maintain inventory, and operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and dollies to ensure efficient production flow.

Work with quality technicians to ensure traceability, complete set-ups and quality checks, and comply with all documentation. Overtime and weekend shifts are required to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move parts and materials through the manufacturing plant in coordination with quality and production teams.
• Maintain and reconcile inventory in the computerized system.
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and dollies.
• Collaborate with quality technicians to ensure proper identification and traceability of components.
• Prepare work areas, set-ups and conduct quality checks on own work.
• Complete tasks and projects as assigned and meet training/documentation criteria.
• Meet scheduling requirements, overtime, and weekend shifts as needed.
