Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Manual Machinist for a Columbus, MS company with a full-service machine shop. You will interpret blueprints, set up and operate lathes and milling machines to precise tolerances.

Pay ranges from $25.00 to $34.00 per hour with Monday–Friday schedule. Benefits include weekly pay, health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) with matching, and a referral bonus.

Qualifikationen

• Degree or 2-5 years of related experience preferred.
• Mechanically inclined and reliable.
• Willingness to work any shift and overtime when required.
• Must pass pre-employment checks and drug screen.
• Reliable transportation required.

Aufgaben

• Interpret blueprints and specifications to determine sequence of operations and set up.
• Set up, adjust, and operate lathes and milling machines to make or rework parts to tolerances.
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify parts.
• Monitor and verify quality per SPC or procedures.
• Report abnormal conditions of equipment to supervision.
