Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a machinist for electric motor repair preferred
• Ability to read micrometer measuring equipment
• Ability to operate manual lathes of various size and dimensions
• Ability to perform basic math functions
• Ability to understand, perform and retain various job-related training, operational, and safety procedures

Responsibilities

• Identify problems and make necessary adjustments as they relate to industrial AC/DC electric motors and generators
• Use manual machining tools and balancing equipment for rotating machinery
• Follow service center safety procedures
• Work from drawings, sketches, and blueprints with excellent attention to detail
