Job summary

Frontgrade Technologies in Exeter, NH is seeking a Machinist IV to produce precision parts using both manual and automated machine tools. You will measure parts, install machine components and conduct quality inspections to ensure parts meet tight tolerances.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of experience, strong setup and programming skills, and the ability to mentor junior machinists. This on-site role offers a collaborative environment and opportunities to work on mission-critical

Responsibilities

• Estimate dimensions of workpieces, products, or equipment
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Produce or repair precision parts using both manual and automated equipment and accurate measurements
• Program complex parts to be machined
• Set up, adjust, and operate all of the basic machine tools in order to perform precision machining operations
• Measure and outline the parts to be machined using various devices and tools in order to obtain accurate dimensions
• Design complexed manufacturing fixtures
• Mentor and train junior machinists
