Job summary

Frontgrade Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented inspector to adjust and verify aluminum and copper parts to blueprint tolerances using height gauges, calipers, and precision fixtures.

You will interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements, perform controlled mechanical adjustments, and document measurements and results to quality procedures. Collaboration with quality, engineering, and production teams is essential to ensure first-pass quality and efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the area.
• Experience with height gauges, calipers, and fixtures.
• Ability to read engineering blueprints, drawings, and GD&T.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and precision tolerance work.
• Experience with aluminum and copper materials preferred.
• Detail-oriented with focus on quality and repeatability.
• Ability to document measurements per procedures.

• Experience using precision measurement tools such as height gauges, calipers, and mechanical fixtures.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, drawings, and GD&T requirements.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience manipulating metal parts to tight tolerances.
• Experience working with aluminum and copper materials preferred.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and repeatability.
• Ability to perform visual and dimensional inspections to verify conformance to specifications.
• Comfortable documenting measurements and work performed per quality procedures.
• Understanding of shop safety practices and proper tool handling.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with production, quality, and engineering teams.
