Job summary

Tru-fit Products in Medina, OH is seeking a highly organized manual machinist. This non-CNC role requires strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read blueprints and use hand measurement tools. Shift is 7:00am–3:30pm, with full-time employment and competitive benefits.

The candidate will set up and operate manual mills and lathes, perform hand operations, and ensure parts meet tolerances while adhering to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Complete understanding of hand measuring devices.
• Ability to perform basic math functions.
• Ability to read and understand complex blueprints.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Available to work an 8-hour shift 7:00am–3:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual mills and lathes with minimal supervision.
• Perform necessary hand operations.
• Follow safety procedures and work safely.
• Read and follow work order instructions.
• Set up machines without supervision.
• Machining to tolerances with minimal supervision.
• Operate lifting devices and inspect machined parts.
• Assist with setup for other shop staff.
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
