Responsibilities & Expectations:

We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Operating manual machining tools such as engine lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drills.
2. Using overhead cranes, gantry cranes, and lift trucks safely.
3. Measuring mechanical parts with tools like dial indicators and micrometers.
4. Fabricating parts based on drawings and blueprints.

Qualifications and Competencies:

• Minimum of 2 years of related experience using manual machining equipment; 6 years preferred.
• Ability to read micrometer measurements and operate manual lathes.
• Experience with electro-plating equipment and working within tight tolerances (+/- .001).
• Basic math skills and the ability to follow safety and operational procedures.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Standing, stooping, kneeling, and bending for extended periods.
• Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying items up to 50 lbs.
