Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Manual Machinist for a growing precision shop in Texas. You will read blueprints, set up and operate manual Bridgeport mills and tool room lathes, and run a CNC Hurco mill to meet tight tolerances on various materials. The role includes inspecting parts, using calipers and micrometers, and performing preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Operate manual Bridgeport mills and tool room lathes.
• CNC Hurco milling experience is a plus (not required).

Responsibilities

• Read/interpret blueprints and tolerances.
• Set up and operate manual Bridgeport mills and tool room lathes.
• Operate CNC Hurco mill to part specifications.
• Hold tight tolerances on varied materials.
• Perform first piece, in-process and final inspections.
