  • Read and follow blueprints and job routers to determine machining requirements (sequence, tooling, feeds, and speeds)
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications
  • Fabricate and modify parts for tooling, repair, or production needs
  • Assist in building gauges and product acceptance tooling
  • Work with team members to complete jobs efficiently and accurately
What We’re Looking For

  • Ability to read blueprints and use basic measuring tools
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced team members
  • Good attendance and reliability
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
  • High School Diploma or GED required
Position Demands
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, and lifting
  • Ability to pass a vision screening
  • Willingness to work extended hours during peak workloads
Schedule
  • Monday – Thursday: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Overtime may be required during the week and on Fridays (Monday - Thursday: 6:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Friday 6:00 AM - 11:00 AM)
  • Opportunities for increased pay with cross‑training and annual reviews
Why L & E Engineering?
  • Stable, growing aerospace business
