Job summary

Eddyfi Technologies in Lewistown, PA is seeking a Machinist to manufacture high-quality machined parts from drawings, meeting tolerances and improving production quality.

You will operate CNC equipment including HAAS Mill and Lathe, set up tooling, inspect parts, document production steps, and support continuous improvement through basic CNC programming.

Qualifications

  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a Machinist role.
  • Mastercam experience is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and set up CNC equipment, including HAAS Mill and HAAS Lathe, to manufacture precision parts from drawings.
  • Select tooling, speeds, feeds, and sequences to ensure efficient cutting and finishing operations.
  • Inspect finished parts, correct defects, and document production and quality records.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and perform basic maintenance on machines and tools in accordance with SOPs and safety rules.
  • Support continuous improvement by writing basic CNC programs or modifying existing ones.

Eddyfi Technologies is looking for a Machinistto manufacture high-quality machined parts from drawings while meeting required tolerances and specifications and optimizing production quality and efficiency.

This role is essential to supporting our manufacturing operations through precision machining, equipment setup, inspection, and continuous improvement initiatives.

As Machinist, you will:

  • Operate and set up CNC equipment, including HAAS Mill and HAAS Lathe, as well as manual lathes and mills, to manufacture precision parts from various materials in accordance with work orders, drawings, specifications, and required tolerances.
  • Select appropriate tooling, speeds, feeds, and machining sequences to ensure efficient cutting and finishing operations.
  • Inspect finished parts, correct defects when needed, and complete all required production and quality documentation.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, clean, and maintain machines and tools in compliance with standard operating procedures and safety requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to quality objectives by writing basic programs and modifying existing CNC programs as required.
