Job summary

Cassavant Machining, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Manual Machinist to operate manual lathes and mills within an aerospace/defense manufacturing setting. You will read and interpret operation drawings, inspect parts with basic instruments, and contribute to quality finishes.

Shift: Day shift

Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.

Skills Required:

• Basic Knowledge of operating manual lathe and mill machines
• Basic knowledge of Reading and understanding operation drawings
• Basic knowledge of inspection instruments and how to use them
• Familiarity with surface finishes
• Team player

Other Requirements:

• Minimum High School Diploma or trade school
• Must be at least 18 years old and Authorized to work in the US
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds on a regular basis.
• Must be able to stand majority of the shift
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks
