Job summary

Hanco is seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to operate Lathes, HBM's and Vertical Boring Mills at our Lawrence, PA facility. You will read blueprints, measure parts with calibrated tools, and produce precise components from raw materials or prints.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of machining experience, can weld components back to spec, and will help maintain inventory and generate drawings for documentation. Regular hours are 7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum machining experience.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Able to measure and record dimensions with calibrated tools.

• Ability to operate manual machines: Lathes, HBM's and Vertical Boring Mills.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proven experience in measuring and recording dimensions accurately with calibrated measuring tools.
• Make new parts from raw materials
• Make parts from both samples and prints
• Machine welded components back to specifications.
• Produce drawings for documentation and future use
• Order machinery supplies and maintain necessary inventory

Job Type: Full-time - Regular work hours: 7am - 3:30pm M-F
