Qualifications

• Two years vocational school or one year machine shop experience
• Must read and write in English
• Must be able to read blueprints and tolerances
• Five years experience on NC lathes
• High school graduate

Responsibilities

• Set up lathes
• Operate lathes
• Selection of tooling
• Inspection of product to blueprint
• Accurate reporting of production and labor to company procedures
• Update setup records as needed
• Locate, load, and store tape program
• Perform preventive maintenance as required
• Cleaning of work area
• Movement of parts to next operation
