Job summary

Epping Forest Yacht & Country Club in Northeast Florida is seeking individuals with service experience to join a premier team. You will be trained in table-side service, beverages, and banquet operations while delivering exceptional member experiences.

Responsibilities include punctuality, flexible weekend/holiday availability, professional appearance, and assisting in dining room setup and daily duties to ensure top-tier service for our members.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of full service restaurant, private club server, or banquet server experience.
• Knowledge of basic service steps and beverages (alcoholic and nonalcoholic).

Responsibilities

• Be punctual at all times and arrive to work on time.
• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Maintain professional, clean, and welcoming appearance with proper name tag.
• Ensure hair is presentable; management approves style.
• Become proficient on all equipment and safety features.
• Complete side work before opening and assist in prep.
• Assist servers in table setup and dining room operations.
• Attend pre-shift meetings for daily specials and updates.
• Monitor kitchen stations for bread, tea, and coffee needs.
• Assist servers and bartender during shift.
• Greet members with a SMILE and provide water service.
• Clear dirty dishes and reset tables as needed.
• Coordinate with Dining Room Captain and Manager.
• Carry out daily/weekly cleaning duties as assigned.
• Set up for next function, including moving furniture.
• Check out with Dining Room Captain/Manager before leaving.
• Perform other tasks to support quality member service.

Training and Experience:

Must have 1-2 years of full service restaurant, private club server, or banquet server experience.

Job Knowledge:

Must know basic service steps (how to wait a table) and have a good understanding of beverages - alcoholic and nonalcoholic.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Be punctual at all times and arrive to work on time, consistently.

2. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include weekends and holidays.

3. Clothing must be in proper taste, crisp, clean, and in good repair, upon entering the property, including wearing name tag.Demeanor must be professional and welcoming.

4. Hair must be clean and cut in a becoming style; Management has final approval.

5. Become proficient on all appropriate equipment and safety features.

6. Make sure all side work is complete, before opening.

7. Perform all kitchen prep and set-up as outlined on side work sheets

8. Assist servers in the set up of tables

9. Attend pre-shift meeting to learn daily specials, and miscellaneous information

10. Monitor kitchen during shift for bread levels in warmers and ice tea and coffee stations

11. Assist servers and bartender during shift.

12. Greet members with a SMILE and give all initial water service.

13. Remove trays with dirty dishes from dining room.

14. Reset tables during service.

15. Communicate with Dining Room Captain and Dining Room Manager.

16. Perform any daily and weekly cleaning duties as assigned.

17. Set up for next function, to include moving furniture.

18. Check out with Dining Room Captain and Dining Room Manager before leaving.

19. Perform other jobs that will assist in quality member service as assigned by the Dining Room Captain and Dining Room Manager.
