Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in mainframe development with proficiency in COBOL, JCL and VSAM.
• Familiarity with IBM z/OS environments and tools such as ISPF and SDSF.
• Experience with DB2, IMS or CICS is a strong plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and related technologies.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex mainframe systems for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.

• Participate in system migrations, upgrades, and legacy modernization initiatives.
• Document technical specifications, workflows, and system changes.
