Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks a Senior Field Applications Engineer to be the primary technical interface between customers and internal engineering teams. This engineering‑first role combines deep technical insight with a strong commercial focus and requires engaging with customers, Sales, Product Management, and Engineering to drive design wins.

The ideal candidate is a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with 5+ years in FAE or related roles,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
5+ years of experience in Field Applications Engineering, Design Engineering, Technical Sales, or similar role.
Strong CAD and design review experience (Creo/SolidWorks).
Proven ability to communicate technical concepts and build relationships with customers.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary technical contact for assigned customer accounts.
Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, and Engineering to identify opportunities.
Drive design wins by understanding customer applications and recommending Amphenol solutions.
Support customers through concept, design, qualification, and production phases.
Review customer drawings and specifications using CAD tools (Creo/SolidWorks).
Travel to customer sites to strengthen relationships and support projects.
