Job summary

San Diego Fertility Center is seeking a Mandarin-speaking Physician’s Assistant to join our team in San Diego. The PA will lead initial patient consultations, perform infertility-related services, and coordinate care with physicians to implement personalized treatment plans.

The ideal candidate has an active California PA license and IVF or women's health experience, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide initial patient consultations and infertility evaluations.
• Perform infertility-related services including ultrasonography and gynecological exams.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Counsel patients and obtain informed consent for ART services.
• Oversee scheduling and administrative systems; act as liaison to ensure quality care.

We are looking for a full time, Mandarin speaking Physician's Assistant to join our team!Job Summary:The PA will possess strong interpersonal, technology and communication skills with an ability to build relationships with patients, referring physicians, and the community. The ideal incumbent will be energetic, enthusiastic, self-motivated and function well in a team-based care environment.Essential Job Duties:Provide initial patient consultations, directing an infertility evaluation and implement treatment protocols.Obtain detailed medical history, review medical records and perform appropriate physical examination.Perform infertility-related services including ultrasonography, routine gynecological exams and procedures, endometrial biopsy, and interpretation of laboratory values.Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans appropriate to individual patients.Prepare and counsel patients and provide informed consent to undergo the spectrum of ART services.Limited supervisory role for clinical staff, oversee personnel scheduling and organizational systems/efforts.Perform role of liaison for clinical staff and supervising physician to ensure quality medical care and address issues for improvement.Provide patient counseling and education on pertinent health issues.Other duties as assignedRequirements:Must have one of the following: Active, unencumbered PA license in California.Experience in IVF (fertility) required, or women’s health, or OBGYN.Solid communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.Proficiency with EMRs and computer skills.Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Mandarin Speaking requiredIvy Fertility offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package designed to support our team’s well-being both personally and professionally.Ivy Fertility is an equal opportunity employer.
