Position Summary

MornstAir is seeking a Logistics Manager to lead warehouse, yard, fleet, and materials logistics supporting our construction projects. This role is responsible for ensuring that materials, tools, and equipment reach job sites safely, on schedule, and within budget.

The Logistics Manager will provide hands‑on leadership for daily operations while planning the capacity, staffing, fleet, vendor, and technology needs required to support the company’s project pipeline. This position will work closely with project managers, superintendents, procurement, and field teams to anticipate constraints, prevent delays, and improve logistics performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop short- and long-term logistics plans aligned with project schedules and company growth objectives.
• Forecast material, equipment, fleet, capacity, and staffing needs in partnership with project teams and procurement.
• Oversee daily warehouse, yard, inventory, fleet, staging, and dispatch operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure the proper storage and handling of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Coordinate job‑site deliveries around access restrictions, laydown‑space limitations, and unloading requirements.
• Work closely with project managers, superintendents, procurement, subcontractors, and field teams to prevent logistics‑related project delays.
• Identify operational risks and capacity constraints and develop appropriate contingency plans.
• Ensure compliance with applicable OSHA, DOT, equipment‑safety, and hazardous‑material requirements.
• Prepare and manage the logistics budget and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and control costs.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators, including on‑time delivery, inventory accuracy, material loss, delivery costs, and safety performance.
• Lead, coach, and develop logistics employees, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Provide leadership with regular operational updates and data‑supported recommendations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Bilingual in Mandarin and English, with strong organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• 5+ years of warehouse or logistics experience, preferably in construction, building materials, or another project‑based environment, including at least three years in a supervisory or management role.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Experience with logistics planning, forecasting, capacity planning, and coordinating deliveries to active job sites.
• Experience preparing and managing budgets, monitoring operating costs, and identifying cost‑saving opportunities.
• Hands‑on experience using inventory, warehouse‑management, or ERP systems.
• Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and safe material‑handling practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting construction, building‑materials, or other project‑based operations.
• Professional certification such as CPIM, CSCP, or CLM.
• OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour training card.
• Forklift or heavy‑equipment certification.
• Experience with DOT compliance or hazardous‑material handling.
• Experience leading multicultural or multilingual teams.
