Job summary

CareBuilders at Home | Plano/Allen, TX is seeking a Mandarin-speaking caregiver for a live-in assignment supporting a Chinese-speaking older adult at home. The role requires conversational Mandarin, caring experience, and a compassionate, dependable approach to daily in-home support.

The caregiver will provide companionship, assist with personal care, meals, and light housekeeping, and report changes to the care team while documenting care provided.

Qualifications

• Conversational fluency in Mandarin is required.
• Availability for a live-in assignment.
• Previous caregiving experience, professional or for family.
• Warm, patient approach and dependable work habits.
• Ability to safely perform the duties in the client’s care plan.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• CNA, HHA, or PCA credentials preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and attentive, respectful support.
• Assist with personal care, daily routines, mobility, and safe transfers per the care plan.
• Prepare meals and help with light housekeeping.
• Observe and promptly report changes in the client’s condition to the care team.
• Document care provided and communicate relevant updates.
• Follow agency policies and protect client privacy.
