The internship offers exposure to legal research, case analysis, and client-facing tasks in a diverse, multicultural environment. Qualified candidates are pursuing or have completed a pre-law degree, are bilingual in English and Mandarin, and demonstrate strong research and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a pre-law degree or planning to attend law school.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to draft concise summaries.
• Professionalism and discretion with confidential information.
• Experience in legal, administrative, or client-service roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research on immigration issues using cases, statutes, regulations and secondary sources.
• Assist in preparing forms, filings, and supporting evidence for immigration applications.
• Summarize findings from research and present clearly and concisely.
• Support attorneys with client-related tasks and maintain case records.
• Assist with administrative duties such as organizing files and tracking deadlines.
• Interact with clients under attorney guidance when appropriate.
• Collaborate across a multicultural team to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Uphold confidentiality and professionalism with sensitive client information.
