Job summary

One World Global Services is hiring experienced Mandarin-English interpreters for a fully remote role with a clear schedule. We offer full-time or part-time options and immediate onboarding. You will interpret in healthcare and medical settings, maintain professional conduct, and report to your team leader.

A steady wired internet connection and a headset are required. Proficiency in English and Mandarin is essential; interpreters with 1+ year of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year interpreting experience preferred.
• Must be bilingual English and Mandarin.
• Strong communication, note-taking, and memory retention skills.
• High emotional intelligence and cultural awareness.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls professionally following interpreter code of conduct.
• Familiarize with healthcare/medical terminology.
• Participate in internal training programs.
• Report to team leader and coordinate with clients.

Requirements:

• 85% English proficiency
• Steady wired internet connection

Interpretation experience is a plus.

YOUR BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:

• Proficiency/Bilingual/Native level of English and target language.
• 1+ years of interpreting experience (Desirable).
• High emotional intelligence and tolerance of diverse cultures.
• High level of communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills.
