Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking experienced interpreters for Japanese-English interpretation on a per-minute or fixed-rate basis. This fully remote role offers a clear schedule with both full-time or part-time options and immediate onboarding after training.

Candidates should have native or bilingual English-Japanese proficiency, at least 1+ year of interpreting experience, and the ability to work with healthcare vocabulary.

Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese required.
• 1+ years interpreting experience preferred.
• Familiarity with healthcare/medical terminology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls professionally per interpreters code of conduct.
• Familiarize with industry vocabulary, especially healthcare/medical terms.
• Participate in internal professional training and report to team leader.

• Answer calls professionally, acting according to the Interpreters code of conduct.
• Be aware of the specific vocabulary of the industry the interpreter works with (healthcare and medical one, specifically).
• Go into internal professional training.
• Communicate and report to your team leader.

YOUR BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:

• Proficiency/Bilingual/Native level of English and target language.
• 1+ years of interpreting experience (Desirable).
• High emotional intelligence and tolerance of diverse cultures.
• High level of communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills.
