• Bachelor’s degree required in Education, Language, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of recent experience teaching adults/university students.
• Native or near-native Mandarin with ILR scores SLR 5, TA 3.
• Clearance requirement: U.S. citizenship and TS/SCI (with poly) sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Mandarin instruction to adult students, from ILR 0–3.
• Plan, deliver, and assess lessons and student progress.
• Develop lesson plans for beginner to advanced levels.
• Foster real-world language use including culture, politics, economy.
• Provide constructive feedback and align with customer needs.
• Assess proficiency using ILR scales and certifications.
