Job summary

CACI International Inc. seeks a Chinese/Mandarin Instructor to support a high-priority mission. This full-time, in-person role combines language instruction with assessment responsibilities for adult learners at ILR 2–3, requiring TS/SCI with polygraph.

Candidate will translate and edit materials into professional American English, deliver context-rich instruction, and tailor content to meet learning needs while maintaining instructional excellence.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with adjudicated polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree from a U.S. institution or from the country where the target language is spoken.
• Minimum of 5+ years direct adult teaching experience; or 7–10 years of relevant experience; or a master’s degree with 6–8 years of relevant experience.
• Pass an advanced English proficiency translation assessment at Senior Level (4+).
• ILR Level 5/5/5 in speaking, listening, and reading for the target language.
• Strong understanding of geopolitical, cultural, regional, and ethnic dynamics.
• Proficient with MS Office and skilled in online research.

Responsibilities

• Provide in‑person instruction to advanced‑level adult students (ILR 2–3).
• Summarize, gist, translate, triage, and edit foreign‑language materials into American English.
• Deliver instruction with cultural, regional, and geopolitical context relevant to the target language.
• Maintain instructional excellence and adapt teaching materials to learner needs.
