Job summary

Mercor is seeking experienced HR professionals fluent in Mandarin Chinese to help train and evaluate AI agents on realistic professional tasks in a remote, part-time role.

You will work in digital workspaces to build tasks, draft requests, define grading criteria, and review AI outputs for accuracy and compliance with PRC labor practices. The role runs as a pilot from Oct 23 to Nov 19, about 21 hours per week, paid hourly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution in mainland China.
• Experience in HR (business partnering, employee relations, compensation or talent).
• Native or fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
• Knowledge of PRC Labor Contract Law, the social insurance and housing fund system, and Chinese payroll practice.

Responsibilities

• Build workspaces by reviewing files, memos and records a real team would have for a project or case.
• Write tasks in Mandarin grounding in local practice, regulations and terminology.
• Define clear grading criteria and assess whether an AI agents work meets professional standards.
• Review an agent's step-by-step work, spot mistakes such as wrong calculations, missed details or incorrect local rules, and correct them.
